    We had gone to Guildford for a hot meal and warmth on Christmas Eve as we had no electricity in Godalming, we had no idea of the devastation to come.

    I normally park in this car park, but luckily I didn't for some reason, it was very scary watching the waters rising fearing we might be trapped, luckily we got home eventually and had a cold and hungry Christmas.

    We were lucky, we live on a hill so didn't flood, but I feel so terrible for everyone who had to be evacuated, the clear up continues in Godalming.
