It's all about the pictures. There are some fantastic sights all around us everyday, the oddest things can make the most amazing pictures. You just have to open your eyes too see.
Super shot, Dawn. Love the light and depth of focus x.
Thanks Lesley, it was flying about, so I was trying to keep up with it, sadly all the shots with it's wings open were out of focus or far too dark. I can't take the credit for getting it right, the camera was on auto focus due to the speed of it. I don't normally use the auto but opted for it on this occasion **cheats**xxx
Awesome picture it's so blue and delicate you must have the patience of a saint to get some of the pictures you put up
Thanks Amy, I just take pictures of what I see, some good but many bad, obviously I don't put up the really bad ones lol.. How I love digital cameras, gone are the days of hoping for the best and waiting until developed to see what you have.xxx
Cool shot! You must be very quiet on your feet ;)
I wish lol pure luck is what it was I have to confess x
As someone who suffers from a severe phobia of all things fluttery and winged, I still can't get past how pretty this shot is! It's so delicate- you're a very talented photographer :) x
Thank you for commenting Natalie it must have been difficult for you when you saw the picture.Nature is beautiful x
So well timed, just stunning....you must have either a great zoom or be very good at sneaky approaches!!
My camera has an amazing zoom, then you push a button and it zooms even closer.A couple of years ago with the same camera I took a picture of St Michaels Mount from the swimming pool in Penzance approx 0.5 of a mile, and you could see the scaffolding and people working on it in the picture but not with the naked eye, This shot was taken with my Fuji S100 and I recommend it as its not too heavy or bulky.x
Can even see the blue at the base of the wings!
The blue is very striking isn't it?
Great capture I took one very simular the other day too!
Thank you Sarah x
That is a great picture!
